Introduction
The Consortium of Academic and Research Libraries in Ghana (CARLIGH) is pleased to announce that the Second International Conference of the Consortium will be held in Accra, Ghana from 11-15 July 2016. The First CARLIGH International Conference took place in July 2014, also in Accra.

Guidelines for submission of proposals for papers
Proposals should address the theme and/or sub-themes, and should include the following
- Title of proposed paper
- Name(s) of speaker(s)
- Speaker(s)’ institutional affiliation, if any any
- Speaker(s) email address, telephone/fax number(s)
- Abstract of proposed paper (up to 500 words)
- Short professional profile of speaker(s) – about 5 lines for each person
Length of paper/presentations
Papers should be 3,000 to 5,000 words long, submitted in Word, using Times New Roman (12pt) double-spaced, including an abstract and keywords. Fifteen minutes will be allowed for presentations, with five minutes for discussion.
Guidelines for submission of proposals for poster sessions (these are interactive presentations of research, innovative projects , or best practices)
- Title of proposed poster
- Name(s) of researcher(s)
- Researcher(s)’ institutional affiliation, if any
- Researcher(s) email address, telephone/fax number(s)
- Abstract of proposed poster (up to 300 words)
- Short professional profile of speaker(s) – about 5 lines for each person
Poster sizes
These are likely to be the equivalent of A1 (841mm x 594mm, 33.1in x 23.4in), but could change
Deadlines
24 March 2016 - Submission of abstract for paper or poster
10th April 2016 - Notification of acceptance or rejection
10th May 2016 - Submission of full papers or posters
31st May 2016 - Submission of slides for presentations of papers
15th June 2016 - Preliminary programme available
